Slow Cook Sundays

Thinking about dinner already well here’s your Sunday dinner inspo.




Prep time - 10 minutes

Cook time - 6 hours

Cook time vegan - 2 hours


Ingredients

  • vegan alternative (beans, legumes, lentils)

  • 1kg chuck steak (Diced)

  • 3 carrots (Dices)

  • 1/2 pumpkin (diced)

  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

  • Italian herb mix tablespoon

  • 1 tablespoon garlic

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste


For dumpling (vegan)

  • 2 cups all purpose flower

  • 2 tablespoons of nuttelex

  • 1/2 cup almond milk

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • sprinkle of rosemary



Method

  1. chuck everything in the casserole dish.

  2. mix put In oven on 150.

  3. simple

for dumplings

  1. mix dry ingredients together

  2. mix butter in with hands to make a crumbled texture slowly

  3. add in milk you want a doughy consistency that isn’t to wet.

  4. spoon mixture into balls and drop into the casserole.

  5. cook covered for 10 minutes

  6. then uncovered for a further 10 minutes
